I am an elementary art teacher, and we do a regional art show at the mall and a state art show (for schools all from Wisconsin) at the state capitol building. I’d be interested in doing a blog hop! I have a ton of kids’ art projects on my blog.

  2. Hi there, I teach art, design and creativity classes to adults and children….I would love to join a blog hop to share some of the projects that kids have created in my classes….just sent your article to a friends that is looking for a project to teach this week in her daughters class. I’ll let you know if she uses it.

  3. […] 3. Stampington and Co. shared a story and project today that conveys part of my mission of redlinedesign®. March is National Youth Art Month and the project is for children, especially girls on creating a power plaque, or a way to reaffirm the strength that they create and bring to the world…(Part of my mission: sharing art, design and creativity with children in order to teach them the value of creativity in their lives) […]

  4. When I teach adult mixed media classes at the Art Center of Corpus Christi, I give away Stampington magazines as door prizes. I also teach Family Art Time Saturdays (free to the kids) and they create a work of art and take it home. Volunteering at local schools is a great way to spread the word about art. Participating in teacher training helps share the message that mixed media is “green art” too! I melt plastic grocery store bags and turn them into mixed media purses and our local news station KRIS TV did a segment on why I love plastic bags. see video here http://www.kristv.com/news/another-use-for-plastic-bags-trash-turned-to-treasure/ I would be interested in joining a blog to share art lessons for adults and children. xoxo

Your magazines are so innovative and always seems to fill exact gap of our requirements. I can’t wait for more green (digital issues) especially since their are so many magazines that your publish that I love. Ordering them to Africa seems a bit indulgent on my part (and I have indulged in quite a few), if you consider paper and airplane emissions. Would your company ever consider offering the magazines digitally or for kindle?

  6. What a wonderful resource! I just shared this article with our folks on Twitter. I also wanted to share the Arts & Healing Network, which is an online resource for art and healing. There’s a significant section about working with kids, so please come on over and check it out! http://www.artheals.org/home.html

  7. I love reading through an article that can make men and women think.
Also, thanks for allowing for me to comment!
