Aim for Pretty Not Perfection: Printers Tray Project
“Organization isn’t about perfection; it’s about efficiency, reducing stress and clutter, saving time and money and improving your overall quality of life.” ― Christina Scalise
If getting organized is not one of your resolutions for 2013, you’ll certainly be inspired to revise your list by putting this swoon-worthy project on your radar. This simple tray of happiness requires minimal, inexpensive supplies and effort, but commands a wealth of attention upon completion.
Our Shoppe Manager spray painted a printers tray white and used her favorite patterned washi tape to line the insides of the individual boxes. You can use the elegant tray to neatly store your favorite odds ‘n ends or present one to a friend or family member as a fun gift idea. For this project, our Shoppe Manager chose to organize some puzzle pieces, buttons, heart embellishments, mini clothespins, woodcuts, thumbtacks, spools, and more!
With numerous items entering and exiting our doors each day, we’re always looking for innovative new ways to de-clutter. What are some new ways you’re getting organized lately? Do tell!

I love the endless possibilities that can go into boxes of all types. Everyone is so different with their choices. No two are probably ever much alike!
Love it!

I’m looking for ways to reorganize my studio…I’ve been including more mixed media on my list for 2013…but I need creative organization to go along with it. I’d love to read what others are doing.
I save every jar I can to store my markers & pens in. I have also found some really great bargains and ideas at the Dollar Store :) Love the printer trays ~
This idea of creating small boxes may work with the preset confines of my jewel boxes, so that the items can be found much easier than just ‘piling’ them in there.
