Top Pins and Inspiration from our National Craft Month Pinterest Board

Pinterest National Craft Month InspirationNational Craft Month ended March 31st, but we are all still wishing that there were a few more days to celebrate all the inspiring projects that were pinned on our public Pinterest board. Thank you to those who shared their creativity with us and our artistic followers: We had over 774 amazing pins on the board by the end of the month! Everything from mixed-media collages to home décor found its way to the board and I feel completely inspired having so many clever ideas to peruse all in one spot.

Here are some of the most noteworthy pins  from the National Craft Month board. (We also threw in a few staff favorites for even more inspiration):

Bird Sachet by Four Corners Design Pinterest Four Corners Design created these simple sachets with leftover scraps, squares of French text and a vintage bird printed on vellum. They’d be perfect as goody bags, or to fill with lavender for a fragrance boost in your sock drawer.

Totem Sculpture by SouleArt Pinterest This totem sculpture is made by SouleArt on Etsy. The charming travel theme inspires my wanderlust and makes me want to hop the next train from town. It’s also practical, with a working compass and magnifying glass to help you navigate the maps of a foreign land.

Wire Wrap Necklace by Verite Jewelry Pinterest Verite Jewelry made this piece from Labradorite wrapped in antique bronze wire. It would also be great to incorporate any of your larger pendants, or even a souvenir penny, in this manner.

Junk Drawer by Amy Duncan Pinterest When prompted to pin something using glitter, Amy Duncan got creative and instead pinned a metal basket that sparkles with industrial style. This project inspires me to take a second look at my messy closet. Spring cleaning, anyone?

Girlfriends Collage by VintageLifestyleings Posted by VintageLifestylings, a repurposed bingo card celebrates her girlfriends and makes the perfect birthday gift for her best friend.

flower vase by PattiStudio Pinterest PattiStudio’s bouquet is just right for teacher appreciation or a coworker’s birthday. The pencils are practical but decorative with detachable flowers. You can also embellish plain pencils with washi tape for added panache. Plus, this bouquet will last longer than fresh flowers and is just what you need to jot a note.

I sincerely hope that you’ve enjoyed each piece of inspiration on this year’s National Craft Month Pinterest board. On behalf of Stampington & Company, I would like to extend our appreciation to all who participated in our month-long #NationalCraftMonth challenges.

Thanks for encouraging us to get crafty in March with a “pin-a-day” goal. It was so much fun to see what other Stampington publication lovers pinned, I’m still inspired and don’t want March to end! Will ‘keep pinning’ as you encourage us to do on the board now. Pin=Win!
