4 Inspiring Ways to Use Decorative Wrap Paper

collage 4 Uses for Decorative Wrap Paper

Decorative wrap paper can be used in so many creative ways. Whether you’re wrapping a gift or covering your books, these sheets provide plenty of sparkle and interest to every project.

1. Wrapping Gifts

Although the most conventional way to use these papers, wrapping a present with these decorative papers is a chance to experiment. Get inspired with the creative presentation of the gift. The project below used different Papaya wrap papers (Turquoise Love Feather Glitter Paper Wrap and Starlet Glitter Paper Wrap) with kraft wrapping paper to create a trio of beautifully wrapped gifts.

2. Book Covers

These decorative wrap papers also work wonderfully as book covers. A major upgrade from the brown grocery bags, these decorative wrap papers can add detail and pizzazz to journals, school books, book club novels, and more.

Another great reason to wrap your books in these decorative papers is that the paper can be switched out to suit every mood. Your journal can get an instant makeover just by adding a new cover. For this project, we added some twine to the binding and a journaling card to the front for inspiration. To tie the whole thing together, we incorporated vintage book text onto the card.

    I like these ideas!

  3. Judy H. says:

Much like the example of your journal, I take books off of my bookcases and wrap one or two in the wrapping paper. When placed back in the bookcase, they add a surprise of color among the others. Or, I will take a couple of books, wrap them in beautiful paper, stack them spine side out and place a small cloche, picture frame or one of my ceramic birds on them.

  4. God Bless the makers of beautiful paper, and those that inspire us,.. how much beauty they add to my world!
