Splattered Magic — Spray Ink Cards in 10 Minutes or Less!
These spray ink cards were originally featured in Take Ten Spring 2015.
Looking for a quick and easy way to send a note to a friend? Create these cards in a matter of minutes and customize it with seasonal colors, handwritten quotes, or customized doodles to add an extra special touch. They can also be repurposed for art journal pages, wall hangings, and other mixed-media projects. With a few spray inks, these cards are bursting with color.
Supplies:
- Dylusions Ink — Calypso Teal
- Dylusions Ink — Vibrant Turquoise
- Dylusions Ink — Funky Fuchsia
- Black Floss or Twine
- Dina Wakley Handwritten Quotes stamp set
- Black and white cardstock
Spray Ink Cards Directions:
- Spray inks on white cardstock from a distance of at least 2 feet. Use all three colors to mist the page. The purple color is a result of the blended inks.
- Stamp handwritten quotes onto the cardstock with permanent, black ink.
- Add a stitch doodle along the side with a black pen.
- Cut out panels of white cardstock, fold over the top of card, and adhere to black cardstock card.
- Wrap black twine around top of each card.

I have been doing these types of cards for awhile now, never dreamed I would be ahead of myself LOL. I use both stamped sayings & just hand write a few verses out of my “thought for the day” brain. I love the addition of the black twine — thank you for sharing. RB
