  1. Joni M says:

I went to Somerset Studio. There is no title on the page that I like best. The article has pictures of dimensional mixed media with photos on it. The photos are painted so that they look like art. I LOVE the idea of putting my loved ones in my art! I would really love to know how that was achieved!

  2. rita says:

I love all the publications but Artful Blogging caught my eye. The colors and vignettes are beautiful, inspiring.

  3. Cocoa says:

I have looked through all the publications, my favorites are Somerset Studio and Where Women Create, and the cover of Where Women is totally my favorite this time!!!

  4. Val says:

I really like the look of Altered Couture as I would like to see how the lace vests were made.

  5. Pat says:

Wow, I don’t have to see more of the magazine–that circus 3-D creation is fantastic. So colorful and exciting. It really made me want that issue right now.

  6. Jane C says:

I am intrigued by the circus-themed art on the Melange pages in Somerset Studio. Lately I have been loving everything circus-related and would love to read about the artist who is making these beautiful creations.

  7. Carol Norwood says:

I looked through Where Women Create and the most inspiring page to me was the cover. I love everything about it from the burlap-covered wall, to the use of old frames, to the rusty box on the floor. This display really speaks to the things I love the most! Seeing this cover at the store would definitely make me reach out and buy the magazine.

  8. Retta says:

I like the Somerset Studio. I love the Graphic 45 circus pages. That’s my favorite paper and the designs are fabulous!

  9. How? could I glimpse inside only one of these fantastic magazines… A sneak peak inside them all, was like a mini trip inside of the incredible imaginations of so many creative artists. My favorite though, although I really do love them all, is Where Woman Create (followed quite closely by Artful Blogging) I cannot wait to get the May issue and pour through it’s pages. The images on page six, with the brilliant blues, caught my eye, and made me yearn to read the accompanying text. Thank you for a prelude to an anticipated respite.

  10. Marilyn Curttright says:

Decisions, decisions, decisions… Somerset Studio: image 5 – love those gearheads!, image 6 – art journaling from finds. Oh my! All the magazines look wonderful!

  11. Sandie Luck says:

AHHHH, once again I am enthralled with the beauty of all your creative publications. Today’s choice for this generous give-away would have to be in ARTFUL BLOGGING Summer 2013, “A Wide Open Window”! The simple title invited me in with images of gently billowed curtains at my windows and fresh breezes tickling my skin.
WHAT A GORGEOUS IMAGE accompanied the article ~ the butterflies flitting about the muted hydrangea petals. SUBLIME!!
As I sit at my laptop writing on this 3rd day of May with deep snow surrounding our home here in Southern Minnesota I relish the companionship of creativity to carry my thoughts elsewhere. THANK YOU for your help!!!
    Sweet Spring blessings……~Sandie

    • Bethany says:

      Ah Sandie,
You always have the sweetest things to say! You’re deep in snow and we’re surrounded by sun and palm trees, but it’s creativity that unites all artists! Wishing you a wonderful day. Thank you for your thoughts, they’re always a delight to read.

      -Bethany

  12. Christine Kiehl says:

For me out of the collection shared: Altered Couture! Why? Page 55 or image 7/8 had altered watch bands/jeans. This would be a project I could do! It was a toss up between the bracelets and the gorgeous altered Purple top! Wicked beautiful! THank you so much for giving us readers who are not able to submit artwork for possible selection in the magazines a chance to win a copy! Appreciate it!

  13. For this opportunity I am choosing “Where Women Create” image 5. I am always looking for “storage solutions” for my creative space and it is always a delight to see another perspective.

  14. Evelyn says:

Everything about Somerset Studio catches my eye! Hard to choose, but I’ll pick image #3 because there is SO much going on in it. So much texture, so much to look at – and I really like the monochromatic palette used.

  15. Karen says:

I like Doll Art Quarterly. The article “The Story of the Hat” The artist is a friend of mine and I’m very happy to see her work in your magazine.

  16. rush says:

i love image 3 – the spoons that are flattened and imprinted with various words. i love seeing the art of other people along with photos of their studios.

  17. Laurie Lafond says:

I looked at ‘Where women create’
I loved the 6th picture. Looks kind of like an attic or old boathouse. The perfect place to inspire me to create.

  18. Debbie M says:

I love image six of Where Women Create. Love all the spring colors and that porch! wish it were mine.

  19. Denny says:

I chose Artful Blogging. The page that caught my eye was the one with the knitting project. The reds/ pinks make stop and look closer. Then I wanted to see the work in progress on the knitting needles. Pretty cover!

  20. Becky Green says:

400 More Ideas!!!! :) I’ve TRIED to click on the title to see “PAGES” BUT, it only takes me to the page to order the magazine. So, it makes it hard to “pick a page” that I especially like! (Something’s off I think!) BUT, I would tell you, I like LEARNING ALL THE TECHNIQUES!!!!!!!! I LOOOOOOOOOVE techniques & ALWAYS FEEL I NEED TO LEARN MORE to be a GOOD CARD MAKER & it makes the cards INTERESTING for the RECEIVER!!!!!!!!! :)

  21. Annie says:

400 More Ideas! The link doesn’t show any pages, but the cover is plenty enough for me to know that’s the mag I’d love to have! Just love the looks of that bird project and the stamped doll! I so want to see more!

I don’t know if “Mail” above means email or snail mail. I entered my email.

  22. Erin Glee says:

I would like to note page 8 of 8 in the Sommerset Magazine glimps, “Creating Art From The Heart”. It looked so inviting to try…
I couldn’t see any layouts from 400+ Ideas…I think that would be my Magazine pick ~thanks for the chance!

  23. Renee Zarate says:

It would have to be Somerset Studio with those vibrant circus pages! Love it!!

  24. Belinda Walker says:

Image 7 of 8 ‘Where Women Create Summer 2013.
With a swing in my studio I could soar to new heights and creative discoveries every day!!!

  25. tina zappone says:

I couldn’t enlarge the table of contents enough to read it, but the gorgeous colors on the pages shown from the Melange section of Somerset Studio really caught my eye!

  26. Kim says:

Was at Barns & Nobles today and got Somerset Studio because of the circus pages. Art Doll would have been my next pick. But I could only get 1 today :(

  27. Kathryn Smith says:

I have just moved into my own apartment after leaving a bad marriage of 38 years, where all my art supplies were hidden or stored in containers. Now my little apt. is filled with garage sale and thrift store finds, a place for everything and everything on display. I have been influenced by “Where Women Create” since it first came out and have kept every issue because it is so joyful and free to look and be inspired by like minded Art Folks. There is hardly a craft that I haven’t tried in my nearly 60 years on this earth and so I have tons of supplies. So me and my new kitty, lillie, share my “studio” apt. and have started to create again. Thank you for all your publications!! You’ve kept me going.

  28. Valerie says:

This is very diffacult, but I love Art Doll Quarterly and page 8, Remembering an Old Friend is just stunning. It makes me want to run to my studio and create one of my Grandmother! Thank you

  29. Dianne Thompson says:

After the cover page of Somerset Studio that caught my eye, I chose image 4. Not because it shines over the others but because I am intrigued on the technique to get the “flat” look of the ladies in each photo. They just look so different.

  30. Zenetta Bosch says:

400 More Ideas seems like a great way to ” catch up” and I really would love to do that.

  31. Gail Bassett says:

My choice is Somerset Studio. I loved the Gear Heads. They are so quirky.

  32. Helen Thomsen says:

I looked at the Art Doll Quarterly and loved image 5 – the girl poised with the bird on her hand and her hair flying our like it is in the wind. I loved the colours of her dress. The doll sitting on the pile of quilts/fabric also looked great – all very inspiring!
    Thank you
    Helen

  33. Catherine says:

400 More Ideas ~~ The cover is amazing ~~ Enough to make me want to look inside! Thanks for the chance to win it!

Artful Blogging–the page “Chasing the Light” which is image 3. Beautiful!

I LOVE Prims!!! And the Americana Dolls in this issue are absolutely ADORABLE!! I bought the first issue of Prims and still enjoy browsing through it — I feel it gets my brain jump-started to delve into a creative project!!

  37. Meredith says:

I was quite taken by the wonderful photos in the Artful Blogging issue. The black and white ones were very vintage, but I loved the roses in the Chasing Light article.

The lace tops in Altered Couture caught my eye.
    Carol b

  39. Deborah Osborn says:

I have subscriptions to “Where Women Create”, “Art Journaling” and “Somerset Studio” so I clicked on “400 More Ideas”. I must be doing something wrong because all I got to was the order a subscription page. I think this is a fascinating idea and would love to check out the magazine. I absolutely love all your magazines and spend hours pouring over each and every page. Good luck to everyone and this is a wonderful give away.

  40. Valarie Holm says:

Love the Melange pages in Somerset Studio. The colors are gorgeous and the images are very inspiring!

  41. I loved the Sumerset studio magazine, I believe page 8 where the creating art for the heart is. Those 2 pages really caught my eye and i’d love to make something like that for myself..

  42. pattisj says:

400 More Ideas was my choice, but I didn’t see the thumbnails like for the other magazine’s pages to flip through.

  43. Kim Barnett says:

I visited the Artful Blogging page. I loved images 2 and 3. The shades of pink were just so yummy. I would like to learn how to have such a beautiful blog. Something to aspire to.

  44. Carol Barol says:

For me, it was Somerset Studio. I was intrigued with page 3. I love how the flat image became 3D with all the gears inside of the zippered coat. Amazing creation! I’d definitely try it.

  45. Doris Gerard says:

I liked the cover of “Where Women Create” because it mentioned Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt. Unfortunately, I did not see her featured on any of the pages selected in the preview.

  46. Monika says:

The new issue of Artful Blogging looks absolutely gorgeous. The photography is beautiful, and it really inspires me when I see the articles.

  47. Kari says:

I looked at Artful Blogging. I actually liked the cover the best of the pages viewed. I liked the combination of the pink and Turquoise and all the items shown.

  48. Nita says:

The latest issue of Altered Couture has 3 terrific lacey top pages: turquoise, cream, and purple. All three look like must try to make for the summer. I am so ready to see how they are done.

  49. I chose Somerset Studio and found “Monochromatic Palette” enchanting! Those rich golden browns and vintage images are what I like to work with best. I hope I can create something that beautiful someday!

  50. Claire says:

I looked at Artful Blogging. I like the cover (I like Turquoise and Pink) and the “butterflies” page.

  51. My favorite magazine is Where Women Create, so everything about it always catches my eye!. I especially loved image 8 as I just read about this artist on the internet and visited her website as well as viewed a tutorial she had on her style of painting. Thank you for always being so current in publishing your issues!
    Sandra W.

  52. mindy says:

images SIX – in Artful Blogging : I appreciate the dramatic effect of black & white shots = . the fence reminds me of or 80 acres, that we lost 1 yr ago to foreclosure, after raising 4 children on ‘ the farm’, the 2 feet dangling reminds me of my husband & myself in ‘brighter day, & the photos ” in hand ” reminds me of what I do often ….looking through old pictures…all three – touched my heart & were moving to me. a blessing.

  53. Melinda says:

Artful Blogging makes me want to grab my camera and go take tons of pictures. I love the page with the B & W photos of the gate with a tree in the middle of the field and the one with the bare feet hanging from a dock on the water. Welcome summer!

  54. Ido says:

I love where women create, the magazine is so inspirational and teaches you to that if you have a dream, take the plunge and go for it, I love this may issue for the antiques and the creativeness in it. Loved all the pages, the cover is amazing!

  55. Emily Barker says:

Wow! That’s a hard choice to make, but if I had to I could narrow it down to two images: Art Doll Quarterly Summer 2013 images 7 and 8 of 8. I love these dolls, and it inspires me to try my hand at this art form, although I could never duplicate it. I love how you took something simple like a doll and put it on the page to make them “people”. All of the publications are amazing, and wish I could get them all.

  56. Peggy Lee says:

Where Women Create would have to be the first.I was so inspired by the section about Jo Ann Taylor of Camas Antiques and the place she creates in!I am currently undergoing a re-designing if my creative room and it sure would be nice to have some of that inspiration to guide my way!!
I love all of your magazines tho.Ever since a friend gifted me with two Somerset Studio magazines! I treasure them! It only takes a moment to look into one of them to get all the inspiration I need. Thank you for ALL of your wonderful magazine issues!

  57. Kee Ostler says:

Somerset Studio—In My FOund Art Studio—looks cool. I’d like to see the Melange pages. Now THAT looks cool! It’s all very artsy.

  60. sherry butcher says:

400 More Ideas for Handmade Cards, so many ideas and I could spend hours reading and trying things for this book. I love the colors esp. the blue I use this color and make thing stand out but these cards stand out the biggest and best.

  61. Kathy says:

Where Women Create continues to inspire me. Image 7 is somewhere I would love to spend time and learn more about. I loved pages 24/25 in the 400 More magazine. Loved the colors and the designs.

  65. Stacy T. says:

I loved the French Fashion Bears in Prims. Because the original, French pronunciation of my last name sounds like “Tea-Bear”, I have had a special fondness for teddy bears since I was a girl. The French Fashion Bears are a beautiful reminder of my heritage.

  66. Hope Amen says:

From Somerset Studio I like the Creating Art from the Heart article with Sue Pelletier. Wonderful, and colorful images. And creating art from the heart is such wonderful inspirational words.

I already have the Somerset Studio (I subscribe) — but the Altered Couture one caught my eye above. Especially the Flower Lace Tops …. I have an in-progress (um, I started it a year or so ago) doily vest and I like the idea of adding delicate color to it.

  69. Karen says:

What beautiful magazines! The layouts, photography, and art included make them all works of art. I’ve always loved “Somerset Studio,” and the newly named “400 More Ideas.” The pages that spoke to me were My Found Art Journal. I love the vintage look and feel, and fun attitude.

  70. Lynn H S says:

Where Women Create… always a WOW! I love love to study how the artists organize and display!

  71. Carol M. says:

Where do I begin? I made a visit to the “$75 store” (my local craft/art supply store – seems every time I visit, my bill totals $75!) and purchased supplies for Michele Lynch’s “Rainy Day” pp.107-108 styro Ave’s Apoxie Sculpt face plaque. Then moved onto P. 64 where I was completely inspired by Amy Willcut’s little tin mini-shrine (HELP, I’m out of Altoids tins). So many fab ideas that my inspiration bank is overflowing! Thanks to the wonderful artists who share their lovely work.

  72. Susan says:

I LOVE the Artful Blogging page #3. I don’t subscribe to this particular magazine nor have I ever purchased it. But, I may now even though I do not have a blog myself. The delicate colors of the roses and the soft baby picture just grabbed my attention and touched my heart. I could not help but to take a deep breath and look at every beautiful detail. It is inspiring but also a gentle reminder to enjoy the everyday beauty around me.
