As most crafters will tell you, there’s nothing quite as fun, exhilarating, and challenging, as going to an art fair. It’s fun because you’re surrounded by inspiration and you might even get the opportunity to meet and interact with top artists. It’s exhilarating because once you get that tiny bit of inspiration you sought, your imagination takes flight. However, it’s also challenging because first you have to find one, make the trip, and —  once you finally arrive —  you have to avoid buying everything in sight. Trust me, it’s harder than it sounds.

Artisan Avenue, our monthly newsletter, is like a virtual art fair that gets delivered right to your inbox. This bright and colorful newsletter is filled with deals on art supplies, creative project ideas, free downloads, information on artistic retreats, and top-quality DIY videos. If you’re looking for a good balance of freebie perks and fantastic retail finds, then you’re going to love Artisan Avenue.

  4. Tisa@SeattleRetro says:

Artisan Avenue arrives in my email & I am instantly inspired! Despite having sold vintage ads on eBay for 16 years and having an archive of thousands of images, I often download the offered free images & imagine what I will do with each one. (It helps to isolate an image from the masses!) Nearly always click on a link to see what’s new….keep it coming, and thanks for the lovely images & creative content!

  5. Jackie P says:

I am already a subscriber to Artisan Avenue and I must say, that I enjoy opening my email to see what treasures are in it! I really love the format and am grateful that you share as much as you do-for a free publication!! Thank you!

  7. Michele S says:

I’ve been a subscriber for a long time. I always look forward to receiving the newsletter. I view each project featured (and usually click on most of the links.) Sometimes it’s just eye candy for me (which I LOVE) and sometimes it inspires me for my own projects. Keep up the good work and keep those newsletters coming.

  8. Fonda Rush says:

I was already signed up for Artisan Avenue and two others, but when I got to update my subscription, I added three more! You have a wonderful collection of publications.

  9. Peggy says:

  10. Linda Isbell says:

I buy Artisan Avenue along with practically all of your publications at Barnes and Noble. I love them all and I always find inspiration and great ideas for my crafting and photography. I want to be signed up for Artisan Avenue Blog. Thanks to all the hardworking staff members who produce these wonderful magazines!

  11. HawaiianLibrarian says:

Already a subscriber of Artisan Avenue; always looking forward to ea issue in my Inbox altho sometimes 1x/month isn’t enough but let me not be greedy. I love learning so your tutorials are my go-to learn spots, & product announcements & reviews are my go-to buy spots. What would I change? More first-to-know event info maybe because I want to attend some altered art classes, and need to make vacay arrangements w-a-y ahead (plus hunt for airfare deal$!) What would I leave the same? Frequency – I think once a month is okay, Content – I love reading and doing everything.

  12. Laura Strack says:

I’m already a subscriber of Artisan Avenue. I always love getting the Freebie ephemera and download into my “Stampington file”. I really love when you post videos. I am a die hard video lover and learn so much from video tutorials. Please post some more!! Thanks for your lovely newsletter.

  13. Lisa M says:

I’ve been a subscriber for awhile and through Artisan Avenue, found a shop with merchandise that I love and an online art retreat that I’m enjoying immensely! I often save the newsletter in my inbox until I can check out most of the links. It’s a great resource in between the “upcoming events” published in your magazines.

  14. Pat May says:

I love your newsletters, especially the project ideas and videos. I have my special interest publications I subscribe to, such as GreenCraft and Somerset Studio, but believe me when I say a lot of us share interests beyond our preferred art heart throb. So I love the opportunities to explore thru projects featured from publications I do not purchase. I’m always interested in new products on the market, sometimes I’m not quite sure how to use or apply them so product introduction tutorials would be awesome. For example I use a lot of inks in my work and it can be overwhelming determining which inks are water soluble, permanent, blendable, etc. Thank you so much for your newsletters, in my opinion you can’t do too many!
