“Lately I can’t seem to get enough of all the colorful sari ribbons available. What a beautiful way to recycle and reuse! Looking to design a necklace and bracelet combo, I paired the ribbon with polymer clay. This design combination continues to appear in my work lately. Guess you could say I love it! The ribbon adds a softness and feminine quality to clay pieces that other components lack when used alone.

Its appearance was a striking dusty blue, almost monochromatic. And peering out of my ribbon stash was a subdued bluish-purplish sari ribbon. I was so pleased with the design results, that I immediately added earrings to the group.”
