Instructions:

Pop back off clock and trim a patterned paper to fit the clock back. Paint patterned paper with a thin layer of pink paint, so that the pattern and texture still shows through. Mix gesso with water to create a white wash and dull the paper with a layer of white wash.

Paint three Relics and Artifacts rosettes with pink paint and let dry complete. With very watered down gesso (should be almost the consistency of water), paint the rosettes, letting the white wash pool in the cracks and crevices to provide definition. Apply additional layers of white wash until desired effect is achieved.

Paint the entire clock body, inside and out, with a thick layer of gesso. Let dry.

Paint entire clock with blue chalkboard paint.

With a coarse bristle brush, use a dry brush technique to apply gesso to the outside of the clock. Use very little gesso and drag the brush in long strokes on the outside to leave small streaks on the body of the clock.

Adhere lace strip around the edges of the pink patterned paper with gel medium.

Ink edges of Small Talk Stickers with Weathered Wood ink pad and adhere to pink patterned paper.
